Why We’re Doing the “Look Better Naked” Challenge

Hey Sweaty Mess Crew!

You’ve been showing up. You’ve been sweating. You’ve been chasing those Sweaty & Committed Club milestones. Reaching 14 classes a month is incredible — it shows discipline, consistency, and dedication.

But here’s the truth most people forget…
💡 80% of how your body looks and feels comes from what you put in your mouth.
💪 The other 20%? That’s the workouts — the icing on the cake.

You can work out like a beast, but if your nutrition doesn’t match your goals, the results you want will take much longer (or never show up at all). That’s why we’re bringing you the Look Better Naked Challenge — to help you finally pair your training with the nutrition and lifestyle habits that create real, visible results.

This isn’t a diet. This is a 30-day commitment to hydration, clean eating, and accountability — with a cash pot at the end to keep you motivated.

💰 How the Prize Works
Example: If we get 30 athletes in the challenge at $40 each, that’s $1,200 in the pot.

Prize Money Breakdown

If $1,200 comes in from 30 people, you can WIN:

  • 50% to Grand Prize Winner = $600

  • 40% to SCF = $480 goes back to the gym

  • 10% 2 Smaller winners = total of $120

  • Merch/prizes (shirts, supplements, gift cards)

Non-Negotiable Daily Habits

1. Hydration

100 Ounces of “WATER ONLY” Counts Daily. You can have the others listed below at anytime, but those do not count towards your 100 oz of H2O.

  • 👍Plain water

  • 👍Carbonated unsweetened water (Bubly, LaCroix, etc.)

  • 👍Herbal tea, black coffee, bulletproof coffee (coffee + grass-fed butter or ghee + MCT oil+ vanilla extract)

  • 👍Re-Lyte hydration, energy sticks

  • 🚫Soda (regular or diet)

  • 🚫Energy drinks (Monster, Red Bull, Bang, etc.)

  • 🚫Sugary drinks (sweet tea, lemonade, fruit punch)

2. Food
Good Rep:  👍
No Rep: 🚫🙅‍♀️

  • 👍Homemade meals 

  • 👍Air fryer 

  • 🚫No fried food

  • 👍Restaurants 

  • 👍Meals made with whole-food

  • 🚫Ingredients that are not fried

  • 🚫No Fast Food- This includes but not limited to Zaxby’s, Chick-Fil-A (these are fast foods cooked in bad for you Peanut, Canola Oil and Soybean Oil and MSG!!!)

  • 👍Sandwich Shops Only- Subway, Publix Deli, Jimmy John’s, Chicken Salad Chick, etc

  • 🚫No fried food, no chips

  • 🚫Deep-fried foods (fries, onion rings, fried chicken, etc.)

  • 🚫Standard fast-food meals unless they meet the “not fried + whole food” rule cooked in clean oils. If you are not sure, just ask at meeting.

  • 🚫High-calorie sauces/dressings loaded with sugar and preservatives

  • 🚫No candy, no desserts, no added sugar or sugar free 🍭 🍫 

The Chick-fil-A Problem And More

Here’s how we phrase it without naming just one place:

“Grilled sandwiches are fine, but if you load them up with high-calorie sauces, cheese, and processed dressings, you’re missing the point of this challenge. Even when you go to a restaurant, choose whole-food toppings — lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard, vinegar, or a small amount of avocado — and skip the sugary dressings and creamy sauces. We’re here to fuel our bodies, not sabotage them.

3. Alcohol

4. Sun Chaser Fitness Class Streak

  • 👍Attend 14 or more SCF classes in the 30 days (this is the minimum to complete the challenge)

  • 🚫Not completing all 14 Classes in the 30 days

Bonus Points

  • +10 points - High Streak Bonus: Hit 25+ SCF classes.

    +3 points for each - Attend: 

  • Kickoff Meeting Group Check-In

    1. Midpoint Group Check-In

    2. Awards and Recognition Group Check-In

  • +1 point per pic (up to 3 total)- Protein + Veggie Meal Post: Share a pic of your meal (with YOU in it) that has both protein + vegetables. 

  • +1 point per day - Water Proof Post: Show proof you hit your 100 oz goal (empty gallon jug, bottles, etc.), tag Sun Chaser Fitness.

  • +1 point per day - Sleep Goal: 6.5+ hours — pic of watch tracker, pillow selfie, or other proof.

  • +1 point per Healthy Recipe Share: Post a healthy recipe in our SCF Facebook group. (They only count if you actually cook it and share what you made)

Tracking System

  • Each participant gets a printed weekly/30-day calendar sheet with checkboxes for:

  • Water ✔

    1. No Fast Food ✔

    2. No Alcohol ✔

    3. No Soda/Energy ✔

    4. Class Attended ✔

    5. Bonuses ✔

  • Turn in your sheet weekly. You keep your monthly.

  • Proof for bonuses must be posted the same day you earn them.

  • Prizes

  • One Grand Prize: 50% of the pot- Person with perfect non-negotiables + most bonus points.

  • Two Consistency Champions:  100% or the one with the most non-negotiables and another winner on most veggie posts, most water posts, etc.

  • Fun extras from coaches choice
